Built to make your numbers more useful.
Practical accounting, financial insight, and fraud education for small-business owners who have enough on their plates.
Our Origins
CAA was built around a simple idea: small business owners deserve financial information they can actually use.
Accurate books matter, but knowing what those numbers mean - and what to do with them - matters too. CAA combines reliable accounting with practical financial insight and fraud education to help business owners understand where they stand and make more informed decisions about what comes next.
That philosophy became our three-part approach:
Understand. Protect. Plan.
Our Philosophy
We believe good financial support should help you understand where you've been, protect what you've built, and plan confidently for what comes next.
UNDERSTAND.
Accurate books are only useful if you understand what they're telling you. We turn financial information into practical insight so you can see what's happening in your business and why it matters.
PROTECT.
Small businesses face financial risks that aren't always obvious. Through fraud education and practical safeguards, we help you build awareness and make your business harder to take advantage of.
PLAN.
Your numbers shouldn't only explain the past. We use budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to help you evaluate what's ahead and make more informed decisions about what comes next.
Meet Anna, Our Founder
Hi, I’m Anna.
I’m the owner of Cox Accounting and Analytics, based in Greenville, South Carolina. My background sits at the intersection of accounting, financial analysis, and fraud prevention.
I hold a B.S. in Forensic Accounting and Fraud Examination from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, and I am continuing my graduate education in accounting with a forensic concentration. Professionally, my experience includes financial analysis, forensic accounting support, bookkeeping, and tax accounting, giving me the opportunity to work with financial information from several very different angles.
I started CAA because small business owners deserve more than someone who simply keeps the books. I want you to understand what your numbers are telling you, recognize financial risks before they become expensive problems, and feel confident making decisions about what comes next.
That means looking forward, too - not just backward. Through budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis, I help turn accounting information into something you can actually use to plan, grow, and make better decisions.
Outside of CAA, I’m a wife and mom to two little boys, and my family is a huge part of why building and supporting small businesses matters to me. I know there’s a real life behind every business - the family, goals, responsibilities, and people depending on it. My goal is to make the financial side of running yours a little less overwhelming and a lot more useful.
